Hemchandra Shetty appointed as Vice Chairperson of PRCI’s Mumbai Chapter

PRCI Inaugurates the new Chapter and Office Bearers; to focus on new-age communication and networking in PR

PRCI  (Public Relations Council of India ) a pan-India Communication Exchange body, with its presence in 32 Indian cities and towns. This premier network connects PR, Corporate Communications, Media, Advertising, Marketing Communications and HR professionals, along with mass communication academia and students has announced the appointment of Hemchandra Shetty as the Vice Chairperson of the PRCI’s Mumbai Chapter, along with other office bearers to focus on new-age communication and networking in PR

In addition to the above and to mark the National Language Week, the national members of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) inaugurated the Mumbai Chapter along with the announcement of an Online Hindi Essay Competition and appointment of other members today, during the first meeting of its new Chapter members. 

Having more than two decades of experience in strategic communication , Public Relations , Media Relations , Promotion , Branding , Publicity , Marketing  and implementation of #PRECP (Research and Planning for Enterprising Client’s profitability ) Concept , Hemchandra Shetty an Independent Communications Professional on a excitable note commented   “ Being part of the core team of the PRCI Mumbai Chapter, gives me great joy to set up this vibrant chapter along with the co-leaders in which ideas can be shared, skill-sets can be discussed, nurturing of innovative-PRable-Concepts among industry leaders, strategic implementations of deliverables' alongwith the communication professionals , students, various academia's' and veterans that will enable us to  jointly enhance our knowledge and understanding of the variations occurring in the media circles and the  Communications Industry”.  The currently appointed Vice Chairperson of PRCI Mumbai Chapter further added “Simultaneously also networking with peers and engaging with professionals for knowledge sharing that will widen our perspective in the long run.” 

PRCI’s Mumbai Chapter announces Hindi Online Essay Competition 

Amid the world pandemic, the competition will be online and participants are requested to send in their entries on the below topics*:

1. • Various ways of mass communications
2. • Language for mass communications
3. • Need and importance of webinars in Hindi
4. • My language my pride, why sing a foreign tune?

The competition was announced at the meeting inaugurated by chief guest, Padma Shri Mr. Anup Jalota, and a ‘jampacked screen’ with members representing PRCI’s Governing Council, National Executive, Zonal Executive, Director of NE, Chapter Heads and YCC Office Bearers, on Friday, 11 September 2020, at 3pm. After the launch of the Essay Writing Competition and introduction of the new members, the PRCI national heads inaugurated the Mumbai Chapter. Mr Anup Jalota, graced the event with his mesmerizing songs and good wishes.   

On this auspicious occasion M B Jayram, Chairman Emeritus & Chief mentor PRCI congratulated the team from the Mumbai chapter " It's a great moment for all of us, Our newly appointed leaders in the Mumbai Chapter with their vast knowledge, experience , expertise , vision and mentoring capability in this era of new age communication will be a beacon and guiding force for the communications professionals in Mumbai. The Mumbai Chapter of PRCI has initiated revival from the roots by announcing the new governing committee aiming to make a difference by setting even higher benchmarks and define the new normal in PR industry. All the members of the committee hail from various prestigious institutions, bringing strong experiences and expertise in their fields and a mix of various industries that PR touches across the Chapter.
